Butler County Elderly Services Program
Butler County’s older residents now can live independently at home as a result of voters approving
a 1-mill levy in 1996 to finance the innovative home care project.
Residents 60 years of age and older are eligible for services on a sliding fee scale based on income.
They also may have a co-payment which will vary according to income.
The Council on Aging of the Cincinnati Area, Inc., administers the program.

below. If you have a need which is not listed below, or you have not seen it mentioned on our page, please call
the Center and request further information. We will always try to help fulfill your needs in any way possible.

| Meal Services: |

Cafeteria Dining: Open to the public, the Center operates a full-line cafeteria on weekdays
from 11:30AM to 1:00PM. A nutrition program is available for those 60 and over.
Home Delivered Meals: Home delivered, nutritionally balanced meals are available to persons 60 and
over, who are homebound, unable to prepare their own meals or have no one to cook for them. |

Health: Low impact aerobic and body recall exercise are offered at the Center. Walking
group, health screenings and health care programs are also available.

Education: Every week the membership agenda will have a variety of topics or programs from
group discussions on current affairs, music, and travelogues, to topics on Medicare, legal aid and Social Security.

Social/Outreach: Services are available to help seniors cope with many problems.
Help on legal rights, how to deal with a disease, loss of a job or nursing home placement are all at your fingertips.

Other Services: MASC can make the chores of life a little easier to do by helping
you with everything from acquiring bus passes to getting a tag for you dog. We may even help you find a job or assist
you with your taxes. Come to the Center. We can help. |
